DevOps Engineer – Cloud CI/CD & Infrastructure Automation

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for Metrologic Group, part of Sandvik. The role ensures secure, scalable and reliable delivery of software that powers modern manufacturing quality across a global engineering community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage development, testing, staging and production environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor application health, CI/CD logs and performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot build, release, infrastructure and runtime issues.
• Support release management and production deployments alongside software developers.
• Enforce security, backup and compliance practices.
• Document DevOps architecture and processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with middleware technologies (Microsoft and open‑source).
• Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker.
• Ability to design and manage infrastructure using IaC tools.
