DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation

About the role

CloudNexus is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and secure solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI or ArgoCD.
• Manage and optimise cloud resources on AWS, Azure and GCP, applying best‑practice security and networking configurations.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible to provision and update environments.
• Containerise applications and orchestrate deployments with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Monitor system performance and availability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog, and respond to alerts.
• Automate routine operational tasks through Bash, Python or Go scripting.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security and infrastructure teams following DevOps, Agile and SDLC practices.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, containerisation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, version control (Git) and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to write scripts for automation and to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and cloud security tools is a plus.
