DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Automation

About the role

Ascendion is seeking a DevOps Engineer to bridge software development and IT operations. You will automate CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure as code, and ensure system reliability, security, and scalability for Fortune 500 clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scripted or declarative Jenkins pipelines.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using code.
• Create and maintain Docker container images for Linux and Windows environments.
• Integrate observability tools to monitor performance and availability.
• Apply static analysis and unit testing tools to improve code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a multicultural environment.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins pipeline creation.
• Proficiency with Git and Git‑Bash.
• Strong Linux command‑line and shell‑scripting skills.
• Experience building Docker images (Linux & Windows).
• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Nagios or Grafana.
• Knowledge of static analysis and unit testing tools.
• Experience with build systems like Maven, Gradle, Bazel or Make.
• Ability to work with YAML, Python and PowerShell scripts.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
