DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Automation

About the role

Dayal InfoSystems is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated delivery pipelines and cloud‑native infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions.
• Automate build, deployment and operational processes to improve efficiency.
• Manage cloud and on‑premise environments, primarily OpenStack.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Monitor performance, configure logging, alerting and observability solutions.
• Ensure platform security, compliance and access control.
• Troubleshoot production, infrastructure and deployment issues, perform RCA and drive improvements.
• Document technical procedures, SOPs and runbooks.

Required profile

• B.Tech or higher in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
• 3‑6 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, test automation and cloud technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions.
• Version control: Git, GitLab, GitHub.
• Containerization: Docker.
• Orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm.
• Cloud platform: OpenStack.
• Scripting: Shell/Bash.
• Networking basics: DNS, TCP/IP, firewall management.
• Web servers: NGINX, Apache.
• Automation testing framework: Cypress (preferred).
• Linux system administration and server management.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, security scanning tools and microservices architecture (good to have).
