Developer III – Software Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Developer III to independently design, develop, and deliver high‑quality software components. The role involves collaborating with senior engineers, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to technical decisions throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and contribute to application, feature, and component designs based on user stories and requirements.
• Write, debug, test, and document error‑free code while adhering to coding standards.
• Select and apply appropriate technical options, including reuse or reconfiguration of existing components.
• Identify automation and process‑improvement opportunities to optimise efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Mentor junior developers and assist the Lead Engineer with technical design reviews.
• Perform defect root‑cause analysis, estimate effort, and create/review unit test cases.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge‑sharing repositories.
• Execute release processes and report task status according to project standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop code independently with minimal defects.
• Strong analytical skills to identify problem patterns and propose design improvements.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and collaborating in agile teams.
• Commitment to adhere to engineering processes, schedules, and SLAs.
