Developer Community Manager – Bangalore

About the role

MarketStar is looking for a Developer Community Manager to lead and grow its local developer ecosystem in Bangalore. Working closely with the Developer Relations (DevRel) team, you will design and execute programs that connect developers with Google technologies and the broader tech community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and manage long‑term community programs for developers.
• Coordinate with universities, tech hubs, startups and meet‑ups to foster collaboration.
• Provide a physical DevRel presence on the ground, including occasional travel.
• Gather insights from the ecosystem and tailor initiatives to regional needs.
• Identify and partner with top tech meet‑ups and community groups.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in community management, developer relations or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of the local tech and startup ecosystem.
• Excellent project‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel as needed.
