DET / Technician (M/F) – Aircraft Engines – Hyderabad

About the role

The DET Technician will set up fixtures and tooling, operate and maintain machinery, and ensure high‑quality production of aircraft engine components. The role requires close monitoring of equipment performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily checks of machines and equipment before production starts.
• Verify that workstations comply with 5S standards.
• Identify and report any deviations from work instructions to the production supervisor.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and resolve malfunctions.
• Inspect output, record defects, and maintain an up‑to‑date database of equipment information.
• Log activities, submit regular performance reports, and support additional tasks as directed.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience as a machine operator.
• Strong ability to use measurement tools.
• Good understanding of production procedures and best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooks.
• Physical stamina, keen attention to detail, and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work shifts, including early/late hours, weekends, and overtime if needed.
