Senior EMC Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior EMC Test Engineer to join Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in India. The role focuses on performing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrical testing for automotive products, ensuring compliance with international standards and OEM specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute EMC and electrical tests in a laboratory environment following international standards and customer specifications.
• Work laboratory shift schedules as required.
• Analyse product functionality and diagnose failures observed during EMC/EE testing.
• Document test procedures, results and observations precisely using Microsoft Office tools.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of relevant experience in automotive EMC testing.
• B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation or related field.
• Strong English communication skills and willingness to work in a lab setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of automotive EMC standards and customer EMC specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers/EMI receivers and other lab equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 processes and laboratory information management systems.
• Ability to translate standards/OEM specifications into executable test protocols.
• Understanding of soldering techniques.
• Additional advantage: knowledge of CAN and Ethernet communication protocols, passive and active components, and RF spectrum.
