Desktop Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide onsite end‑user assistance, manage office IT infrastructure, and handle asset lifecycle tasks. The role combines troubleshooting, equipment provisioning, and coordination with remote teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals across Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Provision, deploy, replace and decommission IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and user‑related issues.
• Coordinate escalations with Level 2 support teams.
• Maintain office IT services including network connectivity, printing, voice, AV and workplace technologies.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points and related infrastructure.
• Assist with smart office solutions, digital signage and conference‑room technologies.
• Manage asset receipt, registration, imaging, deployment, tracking and disposal.
• Conduct inventory audits and ensure compliance with asset‑management policies.
• Support office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations and technology deployments for events.

Required profile

• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices and office IT infrastructure.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
• Experience with hardware asset management and inventory control.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote teams and vendors.
