Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

The Desktop Support Engineer will be the first line of IT reliability for our Raipur office, ensuring that end‑user devices, network infrastructure and cloud services run smoothly. This full‑time position blends hands‑on troubleshooting with proactive infrastructure management to keep client‑facing teams productive.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals, managing tickets through ServiceNow, Jira or Freshdesk.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows 10/11 and macOS endpoints, handling OS deployments, upgrades and patch management.
• Administer user accounts, Group Policy, Active Directory and Azure AD, and manage device provisioning and de‑provisioning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WAN and Wi‑Fi networks, resolving issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN.
• Configure and maintain Cisco or Fortinet switches, routers and firewalls, enforcing security policies.
• Support Windows Server and Linux environments, assist with VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization, and manage Microsoft 365 and AWS/Azure services.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, network diagrams and SOPs, and participate in infrastructure upgrade projects.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in desktop support, helpdesk or IT support roles.
• Proven experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11; macOS exposure is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of configuring Cisco or Fortinet networking equipment.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
