Desktop IT/QA Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop IT/QA Support Engineer to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role combines user‑account management, system maintenance and support for quality‑assurance activities on production equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Create, modify, deactivate, unlock and reset user IDs.
• Manage user privileges, access rights and maintain privilege groups.
• Log and close ITSM tickets.
• Support SOP preparation and user‑management documentation.
• Synchronize date and time on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform recipe management and parameter setting changes via admin access.
• Provide system backup and restoration assistance.
• Apply Windows security controls on manufacturing equipment.
• Review audit trails and support QA user‑management reviews.
• Assist during software validation, CAPA and deviation handling.
• Deliver SOP training and support equipment qualification.
• Offer technical help during machine breakdowns and HMI unlocks.
• Support monthly calibration of moisture analyzers and inkjet printer message editing.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of Windows systems and desktop troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with user access management and password policies.
• Ability to work in shift‑based operations.
• Comfortable working in regulated pharma/manufacturing settings.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
