Desktop Engineer – Linux Systems (Dehradun)

About the role

EbizON is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join its Dehradun office. The role focuses on Linux system administration, network and server monitoring, and providing technical support to internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain networks and servers.
• Upgrade, install, and configure hardware and software to meet company objectives.
• Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
• Create user accounts, manage access controls, and provide IT support.
• Perform diagnostic tests and debugging to optimise computer systems.
• Document processes, back up and archive data.
• Supervise and mentor junior IT staff on related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar IT administration role.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco are a plus.
