Design Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical engineering to join our team in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The role involves creating detailed 3D models, preparing manufacturing drawings and supporting product development from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D parts, assemblies and sheet‑metal components using SolidWorks.
• Produce 2D, 3D and isometric drawings in AutoCAD for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform basic simulations and stress analyses to validate designs.
• Prepare manufacturing and fabrication drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Apply fundamental electrical concepts such as Ohm’s law and star‑delta connections in design calculations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve design issues and ensure compliance with standards.

Required profile

• B.Tech/BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant design experience.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (sheet metal, weldments, simulation, parts & assemblies).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D, 3D, isometric drawings).
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including Ohm’s law and star‑delta connections.
• Ability to create manufacturing/fabrication drawings and complete engineering documentation.
• Experience preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
