Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team. The role involves delivering innovative, cost‑effective solutions, developing and sustaining new or improved products, and supporting their commercialization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and maintain mechanical products and systems.
• Build prototypes, set up lab simulations and design/implement tests.
• Document test results, create customer presentations and provide corrective actions on defects.
• Produce analyses and mathematical models to draw design conclusions.
• Participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs and code.
• Create and maintain product documentation and provide field support via InTouch.
• Assign, direct and review work of technicians; mentor junior engineers.
• Author technical reports, papers, patents and presentations.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑Graduate degree in Mechanical, Production or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering.
• Ability to evaluate engineering approaches, manage risks and comply with Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and leading technical reviews.
