Design Engineer - Cabin & Vehicle Integration

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in cabin and vehicle integration for heavy‑equipment projects. The role combines hydraulic system design, tube and hose selection, and vehicle packaging using PTC Creo.

Key responsibilities

• Develop hydraulic routing layouts and perform pressure calculations in Creo.
• Select appropriate tubes, hoses, and materials based on load and environmental requirements.
• Create 3D part, assembly and drawing models for vehicle integration and packaging.
• Coordinate assembly integration, sheet‑metal and weldment design for heavy equipment.
• Apply GD&T standards, tolerance stack‑up analysis, and conduct DFMEA/DFMT reviews.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and service teams to ensure design for manufacturability and serviceability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (no diploma).
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in heavy‑engineering or earth‑moving equipment design.
• Proven experience with mechanical design, material selection and engineering calculations.

Required skills

• PTC Creo (part, assembly & drawing).
• Hydraulics routing and pressure calculation.
• Tube & hose selection, material selection.
• GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• DFMEA & DFMT.
• Sheet‑metal design and weldments.
• Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
