Design Coordinator – Aviation Projects

About the role

The Design Coordinator will lead design activities for aviation and airport projects, ensuring seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and delivering high‑quality outputs on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design work across architecture, structural, MEP, civil and systems engineering disciplines.
• Act as primary liaison between design teams, project managers, contractors and clients.
• Review and validate design deliverables for compliance with project specifications, aviation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, monitor and update design schedules to guarantee timely submissions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design revisions, approvals and correspondence.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure feasibility, constructability and adherence to ICAO, FAA and IATA codes.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts through proactive stakeholder coordination.
• Collaborate with airport authorities and regulatory bodies to meet safety and operational requirements.
• Implement quality‑control measures and monitor design progress, flagging risks and recommending corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–15 years of experience in design coordination on airport infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams for large‑scale airport terminals, runways or ancillary facilities.
