Deputy Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Deputy Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience in a fashion retail environment. This role combines strategic planning, process optimisation, and team leadership to meet store objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow up new business projects, establishing guidelines for in‑store processes.
• Conduct operational visits to streamline organisational processes in collaboration with the responsible person.
• Support the Operations Manager and team in problem‑solving situations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in operational meetings and communicate objectives to the team.
• Prepare sales and labour forecasts according to company specifications.
• Propose improvements to store layout, including furniture, fitting rooms, stockroom and break areas.
• Monitor KPIs and design action plans to achieve targets.

Required profile

• Passionate, curious, motivated and customer‑oriented with a strong interest in fashion.
• Detail‑oriented, creative and proactive with excellent analysis, prioritisation and delegation abilities.
• Proven commercial mindset, people‑management experience and ability to meet customer needs.
• Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• More than 2 years of managerial experience in fashion retail.
• High education preferred and fluent English.
