Deputy Manager - Taxation

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with 4‑7 years of experience to lead taxation compliance across direct, indirect, and international tax domains. The Deputy Manager will independently manage GST, income tax, transfer pricing, and related assessments, while liaising with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns and coordinate tax audits.
• Maintain tax accounts, compute current and deferred taxes, and produce global tax reporting packages.
• Calculate and remit monthly TDS, file TDS returns, and manage rectifications.
• Handle Form 145/146 filings and support international tax documentation for associated enterprises.
• Monitor transfer pricing agreements, suggest amendments, and advise on DTAA benefits.
• Manage GST compliance, including filing GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, and reconciling GSTR‑2A credits.
• File refund applications for ITC claims and ensure alignment between GST returns and accounting records.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant with at least 4 years of direct and indirect tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of transfer pricing, GST, and TDS regulations.
• Proven ability to work with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Excellent analytical, time‑management, and detail‑orientation skills.
