Deputy Manager – Design

About the role

We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Design to lead our engineering design team at Bosch Rexroth India in Sanand. The role involves planning, strategy, and execution of complex design projects that support our drive and control solutions across mobile, industrial and factory automation sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Define milestones, performance parameters and evaluation criteria for the engineering group, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Develop and propose strategies for key initiatives, making decisions on execution of complex and novel topics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to integrate engineering projects and foster a cohesive work environment.
• Delegate tasks, monitor progress and ensure timely completion of sub‑responsibilities.
• Escalate critical issues to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Plan and allocate resources and budgets effectively, balancing project needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading engineering design teams within an industrial or automation environment.
• Strong decision‑making ability for complex technical topics.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across functions.
• Ability to manage resources, budgets and timelines.
