Delivery Driver – Casket Delivery

About the role

Wilbert Funeral Services is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to transport burial caskets to funeral homes within its service territory. The role focuses on ensuring timely, respectful deliveries while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare caskets before shipment to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain personal appearance and upkeep of delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Follow the delivery schedule set by the warehouse manager and deliver caskets on time.
• Unload and receive casket inventory trucks from the Lynn, IN manufacturing facility.
• Adhere to safety protocols, DOT regulations, and PPE requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or Distribution Manager.

Required profile

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Clean motor vehicle record and ability to obtain/maintain a DOT medical card.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift caskets up to approximately 100 lb.
• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle for the majority of the workday.
