Data Scientist II – Product Data & Analytics

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Data Scientist II to join its Product Data & Analytics team. You will work with global and regional teams to build scalable data solutions that drive business insights across products, markets, and services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain advanced reporting and data visualization capabilities on large data sets.
• Translate business requirements into concrete solution specifications and deliver high‑quality outputs on time.
• Create repeatable ETL, modeling, and reporting processes.
• Manipulate large‑scale databases, synthesize insights, and present findings via Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Apply quality control, data validation, and cleansing to new and existing data sources.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, reporting, or quantitative analysis.
• Strong expertise in SQL with ability to write optimized queries for large data sets.
• Experience with data pipeline creation and data product development.
