Data Scientist – Analytics & Machine Learning

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics solutions that drive business impact across its oral care portfolio. You will collaborate with analytics translators, data engineers, and business partners to turn complex data problems into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end analytic studies on large and small data sets, including forecasting, classification, clustering, and simulation.
• Co‑develop an analytics roadmap for the assigned business domain and mentor junior data scientists.
• Interpret structured and unstructured data using exploratory statistical and mathematical techniques to uncover trends and quantify results.
• Integrate data‑science models into user‑facing applications and tools in partnership with engineers and analysts.
• Build, deploy, maintain, and refresh scalable, interpretable models that become part of repeatable data products.
• Identify or create new data sources when existing data is insufficient for use cases.
• Collaborate with data engineers to clean, organize, and define data assets, including data models and ML architecture.
