Data Scientist – AI/ML Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Bosch's Global Software Technologies team in Bengaluru. You will work on end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions that drive business value across multiple units.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to uncover data‑driven opportunities and design innovative solutions.
• Analyse complex datasets using advanced statistical methods to generate actionable insights.
• Design, develop and deploy custom machine‑learning and AI algorithms tailored to customer needs.
• Create scalable, reusable models that can be applied across business units with minimal customization.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for product and business improvement.
• Partner with product and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle to define data requirements.
• Lead product and project initiatives independently while mentoring junior team members.
• Develop interactive dashboards in Power BI to communicate results to stakeholders.

Required profile

• B.E. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• 3–6 years of professional experience in data science or machine learning.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Statistical analysis, feature engineering, and data preprocessing.
• Machine‑learning algorithms: regression, classification, clustering, SVM, decision trees, random forests, neural networks.
• Specialised techniques: design of experiments, forecasting, segmentation, uncertainty analysis.
• Web frameworks: Flask, Django.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS.
• Containerisation and CI/CD: Docker, pipelines.
• Dashboarding: Power BI.
