Data Engineer – AI Solutions (Full‑time)

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Data Engineer position focused on AI solutions. The role involves designing and building scalable data platforms that feed enterprise‑wide machine‑learning models, analytics, and intelligent automation. You will work in a consulting environment serving global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data pipelines for AI and analytics workloads.
• Develop, test, and optimise ETL processes for both structured and unstructured data.
• Orchestrate and automate workflows using Airflow or comparable tools.
• Integrate data from cloud services, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, security, and pipeline reliability.
• Collaborate with AI, software, and data engineering teams to deliver production‑ready solutions.
• Monitor and improve pipeline performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related software engineering roles.
• Proven ability to build and maintain large‑scale data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with Airflow or similar orchestration platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience working with diverse data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based data platforms and modern data architectures.
