Data Center Technician (DCO)

About the role

Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is looking for a Data Center Technician (DCO) to join its Data Center Operations team. You will help maintain the world‑class AWS cloud infrastructure by installing, repairing, and troubleshooting hardware and network components in our data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and de‑install server racks and related hardware.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, storage, networking, power and cooling equipment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and respond to emergent incidents affecting operational stability.
• Serve as primary contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external partners (hardware vendors, contractors, service providers).
• Work on assigned trouble tickets, follow defined workflows and meet SLA targets.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems in a data‑center environment.
• Strong background in hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, 24/7 operational setting.
