Data Center Technician – Data Center Operations

About the role

The Data Center Operations team at Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is responsible for maintaining the world‑scale AWS infrastructure. As a Data Center Technician you will work on‑site in a high‑performance environment, ensuring that servers, storage, networking, power and cooling systems operate reliably for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure server racks and related hardware components.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, storage devices, networking gear and power equipment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve emergent incidents affecting operational stability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external partners (hardware vendors, contractors, service providers).
• Manage and resolve trouble tickets within defined SLAs using the assigned workflow.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience with Linux‑based systems and data‑center hardware.
• Strong interest in technology and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal customers and external service partners.
