Data Analyst – Supply Chain Insights (Hyderabad)

About the role

Lonza is looking for a data professional to act as the digital engine for its Global Supply Chain function. The role bridges complex coding with business strategy, turning raw corporate data into predictive models and executive‑ready dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate global supply‑chain data to provide end‑to‑end visibility for demand forecasting, logistics and warehouse management.
• Design, build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Develop and run data pipelines using SQL, Python and R across cloud and SAP ERP/BW environments.
• Identify emerging digital tools, implement predictive analytics, AI/ML solutions and automation across the operating model.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and lead training for system adoption.
• Optimize processes by cleaning legacy pipelines, establishing QA workflows and drafting SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Statistics or a related technical field.
• 5–10 years of experience in advanced business intelligence, data modeling or data‑science analytics.
• Strong communication skills in English, able to explain statistical models to non‑technical audiences.
