Data Analyst – Master Data Governance

About the role

Renesas is seeking a Data Analyst to ensure the highest quality of global master data throughout its lifecycle. You will define, improve, and implement processes and tools that maintain data consistency across our supply chain management (SCM) systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and govern master data across SCM systems, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
• Support Master Data Governance (MDG) policies, approval workflows, and auditability of data changes.
• Perform regular data reviews, clean‑ups, and validations to eliminate duplicates and obsolete records.
• Monitor data‑quality KPIs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Assist with data migrations, testing, and post‑go‑live support, collaborating cross‑functionally to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to standardise, automate, and harmonise master‑data processes to improve efficiency.
• Drive process improvements, automation, documentation, and user training.
• Maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and work instructions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Master Data Analyst, Business Systems, or Operations professional.
• Working understanding of SCM planning, manufacturing, and execution processes.
• Exposure to ERP systems and data‑governance frameworks.
