Data Analyst

About the role

WPP is seeking a Data Analyst to support AUNZ reporting. The role will maintain ETL processes, validate data feeds, manage master data tables and build Power BI data models, working closely with the Head of Data & Analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Support and enhance ETL processes for current and future AUNZ data feeds, identifying and resolving data validation issues.
• Create and maintain master data tables, filter and clean data, and address performance indicators.
• Develop and maintain Power BI data models, including relationships, DAX, and Power Query, and contribute to silver/gold layer modelling in Databricks.
• Gather, refine and document data requirements with the Business Intelligence Manager and maintain documentation for data models and processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools.
• Understanding of financial or operational data is desirable but not required.

Required skills

• Databricks platform experience (DLT, SQL, Python).
• Power BI data modelling, DAX and Power Query.
• ETL process development and data validation.
• Handling of various file formats such as txt and csv.
