Data Analyst – Consumer Product Analytics

About the role

The Analyst – Consumer Product Analytics will join the US Consumer Services team to develop data capabilities that drive insight into Card Member behavior, support product strategy and enhance the value of Amex membership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and frameworks for portfolio performance tracking.
• Integrate new external and partner data to enrich benefit benchmarking and behavioral insights.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses on product refresh impacts, revenue optimization and customer benefit usage.
• Design customer segmentation models and targeting triggers to unlock growth opportunities.
• Partner with internal and external teams to enable competitive benchmarking and enhance membership services such as insurance and lounge access.

Required profile

• Post‑graduation from a top‑tier college with 0‑1 years of data analytics experience.
• Self‑starter who can translate data into actionable insights in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL.
• Programming experience with Python.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools and implementation (a plus).
