Data & AI Delivery Manager

About the role

This role leads the engineering teams that build and deliver the Service Line's client engagements across data foundations and AI/GenAI solutions. The manager is a hands‑on delivery leader accountable for people, commercial outcomes, client engagements, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data engineering and AI/GenAI solution teams, own end‑to‑end delivery across planning, execution, deployment and transition to Managed Ops.
• Set delivery methods, cadences and governance, ensuring architectural decisions align with Centre of Excellence standards.
• Track and own revenue realization, EBIT, deployment efficiency and profitability; support pursuits with estimates and staffing plans.
• Manage client relationships, governance, status reporting, escalation resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Own engineering quality, define and report delivery metrics (quality, cost, schedule) and ensure compliance with AI governance and Responsible AI standards.
• Develop and retain talent, lead hiring, performance reviews and career development, and build technical bench strength in data and AI/GenAI engineering.

Required profile

• 12–18 years of experience in software/data engineering delivery with strong delivery‑management and people‑leadership experience.
• Solid grounding in data engineering and AI/ML delivery, familiarity with GenAI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic solution delivery.
• Proven ownership of cost, quality and schedule across complex engagements and experience managing delivery revenue, EBIT and productivity.
• First‑level people leadership, including performance assessment, mentorship and career progression dialogs.
