Cybersecurity Specialist – Web Application

About the role

Relay Human Cloud is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist with a focus on web applications. You will help protect our systems, networks, applications and data from evolving security threats while working with global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs and events to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating remediation activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration‑testing efforts.
• Implement and maintain security controls across systems, networks and applications.
• Perform security assessments, risk analysis and compliance checks.
• Manage endpoint security, firewalls, antivirus/EDR and other security solutions.
• Assist with access control, identity management and privileged‑access reviews.
• Maintain security documentation, incident reports and remediation records.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to improve overall security posture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, especially securing web applications.
• Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Required skills

• SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IDS/IPS.
• TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs and other network protocols.
• Windows and Linux security.
• OWASP Top 10 knowledge.
• IAM, MFA, encryption basics.
• Cloud security on Microsoft Azure or AWS (preferred).
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 or CIS Controls (a plus).
