Cybersecurity Manager – Lead Incident Response

About the role

NVIDIA is looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Manager to lead its Cyber Defense & Response (CDR) team in India. You will own the full incident‑response lifecycle, drive operational readiness, and translate the company’s engineering‑first security strategy into actionable plans across corporate, cloud, and product environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day CDR functions, ensuring alignment with NVIDIA’s cybersecurity strategy.
• Act as the primary point of contact for critical incidents, guiding investigation, containment, recovery, and post‑incident review.
• Expand detection and response coverage across on‑premises and multi‑cloud workloads, including GPU‑accelerated AI/ML workloads.
• Define detection expectations, monitoring requirements, and compliance standards based on the threat landscape.
• Own operational metrics such as MTTD, MTTC, MTTR, detection coverage, and false‑positive reduction.
• Run agile CDR improvements, maintaining a risk‑prioritized backlog and leading planning, review, and retrospective sessions.
• Automate repetitive SOC tasks by creating event‑driven AI pipelines and collaborating with Security Engineering on tooling and playbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years managing people in a SOC or incident‑response function.
• Hands‑on ability to work an active incident, read SIEM queries, evaluate automation workflows, and assess alert quality.
• Deep expertise in at least one SOC‑relevant domain such as digital forensics, cloud security, detection engineering, log analysis, malware analysis, or security automation.
