Cybersecurity Engineer (L2 SOC)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our L2 Security Operations Centre at Atomic North in Billawar, Jammu. The role focuses on protecting client environments through proactive threat hunting, incident response and detection engineering using industry‑leading tools.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts as part of L2 SOC operations.
• Conduct incident response investigations and remediation.
• Perform threat‑hunting activities to uncover hidden adversaries.
• Design, implement and tune detection rules across SIEM platforms.
• Maintain and optimise endpoint protection solutions such as CrowdStrike Falcon and SentinelOne.
• Mentor junior analysts and share best practices within the team.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of hands‑on experience in L2 SOC or cybersecurity operations.
• Proven expertise with CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne and a SIEM (e.g., Adlumin).
• Strong background in incident response, threat hunting and detection engineering.
• Willingness to work onsite in Billawar – Jammu or relocate.
