Cyber Security Consultant – Pre‑Sales & Design

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant with strong pre‑sales and design expertise to create end‑to‑end security solutions for large‑scale government and public‑sector projects. The role blends solution architecture, bid management and client engagement to drive successful wins in the defence, energy and public administration domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive cyber security solution profiles for complex enterprise environments, covering data‑centre, network, application, endpoint and workload protection.
• Lead technical response preparation for government and PSU RFPs, managing bid timelines and ensuring compliance with procurement requirements.
• Integrate and map OEM product stacks (NG SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, etc.) to client needs, highlighting unique selling points.
• Provide domain expertise in digital forensics, zero‑trust network access, OT/IoT security and DPDP Act compliance.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to translate designs into accurate implementations.
• Present and defend proposed architectures to senior stakeholders and evaluation committees.
• Analyse product pricing and commercial models to produce competitive bid pricing.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with defence, energy, MHA, CERT‑In and other public‑sector organisations.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience in cyber security solution design and pre‑sales, preferably within government or PSU environments.
• Proven track record of winning high‑value bids in sectors such as defence, energy, and public administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during critical bid cycles.
