Cyber Security Consultancy Professional

About the role

The Cyber Security Consultancy Professional will support a broad set of information security, data protection, governance, risk and compliance activities for BT Group’s clients. This includes client assurance, policy compliance, vulnerability management, risk assessments and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the Cyber Security strategy and maintain a current roadmap aligned with commercial demand and evolving threat landscape.
• Participate in the deployment, integration and configuration of new security solutions and enhancements to existing solutions following best operating procedures.
• Take part in resiliency exercises, threat modelling and security assessments, defining security requirements and designing appropriate solutions.
• Assist in the implementation of information and cyber security controls and change initiatives across the BT Group.
• Report on risk exposure and control maturity against relevant policies and standards.
• Contribute to the Business Continuity Management Programme and Disaster Recovery Plan development.
• Identify and implement improvements to cyber‑security working processes.

Required profile

• Experience with information security, data protection, governance, risk and compliance activities.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, risk assessments and incident response processes.
• Ability to support strategy development and roadmap maintenance.
• Strong analytical skills for reporting risk exposure and control maturity.
