Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

CenturyIQ Solutions India Private Limited is looking for a proactive Cyber Security Analyst with 3‑4 years of experience to join its Information Security team. You will monitor, detect, investigate and respond to security incidents while protecting the organization’s networks, systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms and other monitoring tools.
• Analyze, investigate and perform root‑cause analysis of security incidents, malware, and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
• Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security and antivirus solutions.
• Implement and maintain security controls, policies and compliance frameworks.
• Support incident response activities, including containment, eradication and recovery.
• Participate in security audits, risk assessments and compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security best practices.
• Prepare security reports, dashboards and incident documentation for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 3‑4 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably in a SOC environment.
• Strong knowledge of network security concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, security protocols).
• Understanding of cloud security across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

• SIEM tools: Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, ArcSight, LogRhythm, Sekoia.
• EDR/XDR solutions: Cortex XDR, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne.
• Vulnerability management: Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7.
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewalls, endpoint security technologies.
• Monitoring platforms: Grafana, Datadog, Riverbed.
• Security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Bash.
