Customer Support Director – India & South Asia

About the role

The Customer Support Director for India and South Asia will act as the voice of the customer within Airbus’ Customer Support and Services Organisation. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee all post‑sales activities for a portfolio of airlines and MROs, ensuring high customer satisfaction while protecting Airbus’ interests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the In‑Service Core Team (ISCT) to align Airbus’ customer service strategy across the region.
• Coordinate and oversee the full aircraft life‑cycle support, from Entry into Service preparation to End‑of‑Operation management.
• Maintain direct relationships with customer management and act as the primary interface between customers and internal Business Units.
• Identify customer needs in collaboration with the Sales Director and promote Customer Services sales and debt management.
• Control commercial gestures, ensure contractual commitments are met, and provide escalation support to senior Airbus management.
• Support aircraft sales campaigns by delivering presentations, responding to RFIs, and recommending service packages and training allowances.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in post‑sales support or account management within the aviation industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across airlines, MROs, and internal teams.
• Strong understanding of aircraft entry‑into‑service processes and commercial agreements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English.
