Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Policy Bazaar is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join its on‑site support team in Gurugram. The role involves being the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries about insurance policies, and ensuring a smooth, satisfactory experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to address customer queries and concerns.
• Provide accurate information on insurance policies, premium calculations, and policy status.
• Escalate unresolved issues to internal teams and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets set by the team lead.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (any discipline).
• Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with patience and empathy for handling difficult customers.
• Ability to work six days a week on a roster basis.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Basic computer literacy and experience using CRM systems.
