Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will act as the primary point of contact for OIA Global’s internal and external customers, delivering efficient service across order processing, shipment tracking, and financial documentation. This role blends customer support with key accounting responsibilities, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and smooth cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to address inquiries, process orders, and provide shipment status updates.
• Create invoices, packing lists, and coordinate customs clearance with agents.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery of goods.
• Escalate issues and implement corrective actions in line with business guidelines.
• Maintain data integrity through accurate and timely data entry.
• Promote additional OIA services to existing customers and pursue new business leads.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, adhering to the close calendar.
• Coordinate with finance teams to produce accurate financial reports.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including cash reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, payments, and debt activity.
• Assist in establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping documentation, and payment terms.
• Ability to handle complex customer issues and escalations professionally.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and timely execution.
• Collaborative mindset to work across departments and finance teams.
