Customer Service Officer – Consumer Banking

About the role

The Consumer Banking Group at DBS is seeking a Customer Service Officer to support daily banking operations and deliver high‑quality service to clients. You will work closely with officers and senior staff to ensure smooth processing of transactions and timely resolution of customer inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and bank policies for banking transactions.
• Process cash, transfer, and clearing transactions, including cheques, demand drafts, dividend warrants, pay orders, and other instruments within authorized limits.
• Handle new account opening requests and transaction updates, either jointly with an officer or independently when authorised.
• Respond to customer service requests, providing account balances, transaction details, statements, and fee information.
• Address customer queries and grievances within defined timelines and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of banking experience.
• Graduate degree, preferably in Banking or Commerce.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of internal and external regulations.
• Good computer knowledge.
