Customer Relationship Officer (North Region)

About the role

The Customer Relationship Officer (North) will manage banking relationships for approximately 650 families in the assigned geographic area. The role focuses on acquiring new customers for Group Lending, cross‑selling deposit and insurance products, and delivering prompt, courteous service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow banking relationships with families, offering the full range of bank services.
• Acquire new customers for Group Lending (GL) and service existing GL accounts.
• Upsell appropriate loan products to customers and family members based on repayment capacity.
• Onboard Savings Accounts, term deposits, and other deposit products for customers, family members, and referrals.
• Generate quality leads for third‑party products offered by the bank.
• Ensure timely loan disbursement for eligible repeat and top‑up customers.
• Adhere to all defined processes, KYC norms, and circulars.
• Meet set targets for Group Loans, Family Banking account openings, and term‑deposit acquisition.
• Conduct surveys, group formation meetings, and compulsory group training sessions.

Required profile

• Experience in banking or micro‑finance with a focus on customer relationship management.
• Ability to meet loan acquisition and cross‑selling targets.
• Strong knowledge of KYC requirements and loan documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to educate customers on the bank’s product bouquet.
• Proactive in resolving queries related to GL, IL, and Family Banking.
