Customer Relationship Officer – North

About the role

The Customer Relationship Officer (CRO) for the North region will manage banking relationships with approximately 650 families, delivering the full suite of banking services and driving growth for group lending and family banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new customers for Group Lending (GL) and service existing GL accounts.
• Upsell appropriate loan products to customers and family members based on repayment capacity.
• Onboard Savings Accounts, term deposits and other deposit products for customers, family members and referrals.
• Provide prompt, accessible service for GL, Individual Loan (IL) and Family Banking queries.
• Generate quality leads for cross‑selling third‑party products offered by the bank.
• Identify and refer GL customers eligible for individual unsecured or secured loans.
• Conduct surveys, group formation meetings and compulsory group training sessions.
• Ensure accurate completion of customer profiles, loan applications and KYC documentation.

Required profile

• Ability to manage a portfolio of 650 families and meet GL acquisition and repeat‑loan targets.
• Strong understanding of banking products including loans, deposits and insurance.
• Excellent customer service orientation and ability to educate customers on product offerings.
• Certified Customer Relationship Officer (where applicable) and familiarity with KYC norms.
