Customer Relationship Officer (Banking)

About the role

The Customer Relationship Officer will manage banking relationships for approximately 650 families within a designated branch area. The role focuses on acquiring new customers for the Group Lending portfolio, cross-selling savings and deposit products, and delivering prompt, professional service for all banking queries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with 650 families, offering the full range of banking services.
• Acquire new Group Lending customers and service existing ones, meeting loan acquisition targets.
• Upsell appropriate loan products to customers and family members based on repayment capacity.
• Onboard Savings Accounts, term deposits and other deposit products for customers, relatives and referrals.
• Generate quality leads for third‑party products and ensure timely processing of insurance claims.
• Conduct surveys, group formation meetings and compulsory group training sessions.
• Prepare accurate loan applications, collect KYC documents and coordinate disbursement processes.
• Provide prompt resolution of customer queries related to Group Loans, Individual Loans and Family Banking.

Required profile

• Experience in banking or micro‑finance customer relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of KYC norms and loan processing procedures.
• Ability to meet sales targets for Group and Individual loans.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Capability to work independently in a branch environment.
