Customer Project Manager – Mechatronics

About the role

As a Customer Project Manager – Mechatronics you will lead the technical integration of mechanical and electronic subsystems for Bosch projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define isolation clearance and creepage per IEC 60664-1 and manage reinforced isolation requirements.
• Finalize electrical interfaces for power and communication, and oversee system‑vehicle integration.
• Drive PCBA contour development, specifying PCB technology, solder mask, layer stack‑up and assembly constraints.
• Conduct DFMEA, change impact analysis and manage change requests.
• Perform SWOT, risk categorisation, EMV calculations and target costing for components.
• Create detailed WBS, estimate budgets, and align milestones with internal and customer schedules.
• Execute quality gates, define BOM structure and coordinate with plant launch managers.
• Validate designs against mechanical, environmental and electrical requirements, including vibration, thermal, corrosion and IP testing.
• Source ME and EE components, negotiate cost, quality and delivery with suppliers, and ensure special characteristics are met.

Required profile

• BE in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in mechatronics project management.
• Strong understanding of IEC standards and product development processes.
