Customer Program Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Program Manager to own a portfolio of manufacturing programs for US‑based customers. The role bridges the customer’s engineering and logistics needs with our cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for customers at MISUMI Americas, proactively resolving issues and building trust across all programs.
• Manage a caseload of concurrent manufacturing orders, prioritising by customer impact and timeline risk.
• Gather, interpret and communicate engineering, design, manufacturing and logistics requirements, adapting to changes to keep orders on schedule.
• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing operations, advocating for the customer throughout the project lifecycle, including post‑delivery exceptions.
• Own program outcomes, maintaining scope, budget and timeline standards with minimal oversight.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and drive solutions with cross‑functional teams to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an MBA.
• 7+ years of experience in program/project management, supply chain or customer‑facing operations, preferably supporting NPI, low‑volume production or rapid prototyping.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with strong prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with experience serving US‑based customers during US business hours.
