Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance software components that meet specific business needs. The role involves using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high‑performing solutions from our Coimbatore office.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a subject‑matter expert, collaborating with and guiding the development team.
• Make technical and architectural decisions for the team and across multiple projects.
• Engage with various internal teams to provide solutions and drive key decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
• Coordinate cross‑functional communication to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Talend ETL.
• 15 years of full‑time education (equivalent to a university degree).
• Strong knowledge of data transformation, extraction, and loading processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise ETL jobs for performance and reliability.
