Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to lead the design, build and configuration of SAP‑based applications. The role serves as the primary point of contact, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure project requirements are met and delivering high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and configure applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Act as subject‑matter expert and make key technical decisions for the team.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, facilitate workshops and gather stakeholder requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development.
• Provide troubleshooting and resolution for technical issues across projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BTP Administration.
• 15 years of full‑time education (equivalent to a university degree).
• Proven ability to lead teams and make architectural decisions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and guide junior staff.
