Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance AI‑driven applications. You will work with large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines, and vector search to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions that meet specific business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and integrate AI agents, prompts, planners, memory modules, and evaluation loops.
• Develop RAG services including data ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing and connect them to vector databases.
• Integrate enterprise APIs, event streams and data sources with robust error handling and retries.
• Write clean, testable code and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement unit, integration and safety tests, including offline/online evaluations and red‑team scenarios.
• Prototype quickly, demo frequently and communicate trade‑offs to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong computer science fundamentals and software engineering skills.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases and AI APIs.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end applications and integrate AI components.
• Visible portfolio of AI projects demonstrating rapid prototyping.
• Fast learner with clear communication of business problems into AI solutions.

Required skills

• Java Full Stack Development (minimum 3 years).
• Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java.
• C#/.NET, Go, Rust, SQL, Bash (nice to have).
• LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel.
• Vector databases: pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus.
• Testing frameworks: PyTest, JUnit, Jest.
• Containers, serverless architectures, cloud SDKs.
