Custom Software Engineer – AI & Full Stack

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance bespoke software solutions that integrate cutting‑edge AI capabilities. You will build high‑quality, agentic AI applications, implement LLM tooling, RAG pipelines, vector search, and API integrations, turning rapid prototypes into production‑ready systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end‑to‑end AI‑powered applications, including agents, prompts, planners, memory loops, and evaluation pipelines.
• Write clean, testable code and set up CI/CD pipelines for Java, Python, and TypeScript/Node.js services.
• Stand up RAG services (ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing) and integrate vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus.
• Connect to enterprise APIs, event streams, and data sources with robust error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
• Create unit and integration tests, implement offline/online evaluations, and enforce safety guardrails.
• Prototype quickly, demo frequently, and communicate trade‑offs and results clearly to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong computer science fundamentals and solid software engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI APIs.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end AI applications and a visible portfolio of AI projects.
• Fast learner with a bias for rapid prototyping and clear communication of business problems into AI solutions.

Required skills

• Java Full Stack Development (Spring Boot, concurrency, performance).
• Python (agent frameworks, data/RAG services, notebooks to services).
• TypeScript / Node.js (service wrappers, API integration, front‑end hooks).
• SQL (PostgreSQL, pgvector) and Bash for DevOps tasks.
• Frameworks & tooling: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, vector DBs (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus), PyTest, JUnit, Jest, containers, serverless, cloud SDKs.
• Additional languages (nice to have): C#/.NET, Go, Rust.
